Membership is open to all serving and ex-serving personnel of 656 Squadron, its associated Flights and Workshops (both badged and attached personnel are welcome).
Associate membership may be granted, at the Committee’s discretion, to family members of these personnel, and others with a link to the Squadron; please contact the Membership Secretary before applying.
We are an informal, rank-blind organisation, currently numbering almost 400 members living as far afield as Europe, Canada and the US, India, Malaysia and Australia, and ranging in age from 20 to over 90, including original Burma Campaign veterans from WW2.
Your Annual Membership is free and includes:
Membership Card.
Access to the 656 Squadron Association Facebook Group page.
Attendance at Fly In events countrywide.
Visits to the current Squadron, where possible, on a biennial basis.
Annual events, including a Reunion Dinner / fly-in / AGM weekend,
and attendance at the Cenotaph Parade on Remembrance Sunday.
